Dear friends and supporters,
It’s taken us some time to find the right words, but we want to share what has been happening behind the scenes.
At the beginning of spring, we had to suddenly close Methow Fresh. Our head chef experienced a serious family emergency and will be spending the coming months in the Spokane NICU caring for his loved ones. His absence is absolutely necessary, and we fully support him as he focuses on what matters most.
Unfortunately, his emergency came during a particularly vulnerable moment for us. Coming out of winter, we were still settling into our new location—finalizing recipes, refining processes, and training staff so others could step in when needed. Without those systems fully in place, there was simply no way for the rest of us to keep operations running safely or sustainably. Closing immediately was the only responsible option.
To everyone who has dined with us, laughed with us, and trusted us with your celebrations: thank you. Your support over the years has meant the world to our team. We are deeply grateful for every reservation, every recommendation, every shared meal—whether in our dining room or through our takeout window. We will miss serving this community more than we can express.
All events and catering for this year have been canceled, and any deposits have already been refunded. If you have questions or concerns—including anything related to gift cards—please reach out to us at [email protected].
Thank you for being part of our story.
— The Methow Fresh Team
