Shelly Farren, Mike Aiello, and Jim Holland, who have enjoyed a friendship spanning over 30 years, established Shelly Pie with the vision of creating a family-style restaurant distinguished by its hearty pizza, authentic Italian specialties, and classic daily specials. The concept originated in 2010 when Mike and Jim initiated the purchase of the former Turtle Creek

VFW building. The acquisition process lasted nearly two years, culminating in May 2012 when they received the keys to their new establishment. Although they initially considered opening storage units and a refurbished furniture store, their plans shifted after learning that their long-time friend Shelly had recently lost her position at a renowned pizza establishment due to its closure. Following a meeting among the three, the direction for Shelly Pie was set. Joe Beers joined the team shortly after the restaurant opened and demonstrated unwavering dedication as he progressed within the company. Lisa Cochran became part of Shelly Pie in 2020, bringing valuable experience from her background in corporate dining. Both Joe and Lisa exhibited exceptional work ethic, reliability, and interpersonal skills. Recognizing their contributions, Shelly, Mike, and Jim welcomed them as business partners. While the founding trio remains actively involved behind the scenes, Joe and Lisa now serve as the primary representatives of Shelly Pie. Together, this group of five collectively oversees the unique style and quality that define Shelly Pie. With an extensive menu selection, Shelly Pie has become a cornerstone of the Turtle Creek community, providing a welcoming, sit-down, family-style dining experience.
