Thank you to every single person who ever worked a shift, wrapped a board, washed dishes, stayed late, came early, or jumped in when we were slammed.

You weren’t just staff. You were steady hands in the chaos. You were laughter in the kitchen. You were calm when I needed it. You were loyalty. You were heart.

Small businesses don’t run on product.
They run on people.

Thank you for believing in the vision.
Thank you for caring for it like it was your own.
Thank you for carrying me on days when I was tired.

CharCutie was what it was because of you.

I will never forget that. 🤍

Today I emptied the space.

And I stood there for a minute.

Six years ago I had an idea and a lot of nerve.
You helped me turn it into something beautiful.

CharCutie became a place where people gathered — not just to eat — but to celebrate, connect, grieve, dream, and laugh until we cried.

This community carried me through growth, change, risk, and reinvention.

If you ever bought a board, attended an event, shared a post, or simply cheered me on — thank you.

You allowed me to build something meaningful.
And that will stay with me forever.

On to the next chapter — with a full heart.

Tonight we closed the final chapter of Cooking the Books.

There is something powerful about gathering around a table with stories and courage.

Thank you for being honest.
Thank you for showing up fully.
Thank you for making this more than I ever imagined.

What a gift this has been.
