A little bittersweet update from The Tin 🩵
At the end of this week, we’ll be closing at our Pony Coffee location.
We’ve really loved being part of the Pony Coffee community this past year+. So many of y’all gave this weird little concept a chance, you became our regulars, and helped make this little trailer feel special. Thank you 🩵
While the trailer at Pony Coffee will be closing, The Tin itself is not completely going away. We’ll still continue growing our grab-and-go offerings through retail locations around Tulsa, including CH|OP — so if you’re one of the people basically living off our chicken salad, tuna salad, or garlic toast batons… you’re still in luck 😂 If you know, you know. And if you don’t know yet, they’ll be waiting for you at CH|OP.
If y’all didn’t know, I also own The Wurst here in Tulsa, and after this experience of running three food trailers, I’ve realized how important time, balance, health, and being present really are. As a mom and business owner, I’ve decided it’s time to simplify a bit, create more balance between work and life, and redirect some of my energy back into livin’.
But with all of that said — this also creates a HUGE opportunity for another food entrepreneur.
The Tin trailer and Pony Coffee location may become available for sublease, which honestly is a pretty rare opportunity in Tulsa. One of the hardest parts of starting a food business is the cost and logistics of getting started — finding a trailer, finding a location, building foot traffic, figuring out infrastructure, etc.
This setup already has so much of that in place.
So if you or someone you know has dreamed about launching a food concept, pop-up, bakery, lunch spot, or creative food idea, feel free to reach out. I would genuinely love to see another entrepreneur bring something exciting to life in this space ❤️
Thank you again, Tulsa. We truly appreciate all the support over this past year.
Our final day at Pony Coffee will be Friday, May 23 🧡
