Hit them with a lot of love this week!
9 years. Two locations. Countless memories. ❤️🍒edit to say our last day of service will be Sunday August 16. We sure hope to see you all!
It’s hard to put into words what the last nine years have meant to me.
Cherry Street Kitchen has been so much more than a restaurant. It’s been early mornings and long days, celebrations and hard days, laughter from the kitchen, friendships made over breakfast, familiar faces walking through the door, and so many people who became part of our story.
To every guest who has walked through our doors—thank you. Whether you came in once, brought your family every Sunday, met a friend for lunch, celebrated something special with us, ordered catering, grabbed a drink at the bar, or simply told someone, “You have to try Cherry Street Kitchen”—you helped keep this little local restaurant going for nine incredible years.
Two different locations, but one amazing community that continued to show up for us. I will never be able to fully express how much that has meant to me.
And to my employees, past and present—you are such a huge part of Cherry Street Kitchen. Thank you for the early mornings, busy brunches, crazy weekends, inside jokes, hard work, and all the moments in between. Every one of you left a little piece of yourself here, and I’m grateful for the role you played in our story.
Owning a restaurant is a wild ride. There have been some incredible highs and some really difficult lows, but through all of it, I’ve been lucky enough to spend nine years doing something I loved, surrounded by some pretty wonderful people.
Nine years is something I’m incredibly proud of.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting Cherry Street Kitchen, supporting local, supporting my staff, and supporting me.
What a ride it has been. ❤️ I have had the time of my life. AND I got to meet Robert Plant! 🥰
With so much love and gratitude,
Jen 🍒
