You can get some good vegan food at Urban Fresh, just over a click southeast of Zinman’s at 74 East Pennington Street. When Tucson was younger, Pennington Street was called La Calle de la India Triste – the road of the sad Indian woman.

The Havasupai Tribe shares the news that Rex Tilousi, our beloved elder and former Council Chair has passed away. Mr. Tilousi spent his life working on behalf of the Tribe and our people, tirelessly protecting our history and our culture. He will be missed by his family and all those who loved him.
