As summer approaches, we wanted to create a softer space for our local creatives.

As someone who’s spent years popping up outside in the Arizona heat, I know how exhausting summer markets can feel firsthand. So even though our café is small, we wanted to open a little corner of Espressoul for artists, bakers, makers, musicians & beautiful souls to share what they create comfortably, inside the AC, surrounded by creative coffee, connection, conversation & community ♡

Every Sunday from 9AM–2PM, we’ll be featuring a new local creative at Espressoul.

I woke up to this text from one of our employees and honestly just sat there for a minute.

People hear “support local” so often that I think sometimes the meaning gets watered down into just aesthetics, cute cafés, or trendy posts. But this… this is the real side of it.

Behind every small business are real people trying to build a life. Trying to feel stable. Trying to wake up and not dread going to work. Trying to feel seen, valued, safe, appreciated.

When you choose local, your money doesn’t disappear into a giant corporation somewhere. It stays here. It pours back into real humans. Real stories. Real lives.

So if you’ve ever stopped by Espressoul, shared our posts, brought a friend, waited in line for a drink, or chosen us in any way… thank you. Truly.

Because moments like this don’t happen without community.
And that will always mean more to me than numbers ever will. 🤍

One year ago, we opened the doors to our little cafe with shaky hands, big dreams, and a whole lot of love.
Four years ago, Espressoul was just a coffee truck built on hope, long nights, personal sacrifices, and the belief that people deserve creative drinks made with care. ☕️

What started as a tiny mobile cafe somehow became a home.
Not just for us… but for so many of you too.

Over this past year in our store, we’ve watched friendships form at our tables, first dates happen over lattes, artists perform their hearts out, strangers become regulars, and regulars become family. We’ve cried here, laughed here, celebrated here, and kept going here even on the hard days.

Community built this place. Truly.
Every person who waited in line for us during the truck days… every repost, every kind review, every encouraging word when we were exhausted… helped lay these floors brick by brick in ways you may never fully realize.

Espressoul has never just been about coffee.
It’s always been about human connection.
A soft place to land.
A moment of comfort in somebody’s day.
A reminder that kindness still exists.

To every soul who has supported us these past 4 years thank you for helping keep this dream alive. You gave a Persian girl with a vision the chance to create something meaningful in this city, and I will never stop being grateful for that.

Here’s to one year in our cafe.
Four years of Espressoul.

One year ago today… the doors opened for the very first time. ☕️

We still remember watching people walk in for the first time, hearing the espresso machine going nonstop, the nerves, the chaos, the excitement… and realizing this little dream we carried for years was finally real.

What started as a coffee truck built with love, risk, faith, and a whole lot of sleepless nights became a space filled with conversations, first dates, study sessions, tears, laughter, community, and so many familiar faces we now consider family.

This café holds so much of our heart.
And somehow… it’s already been a year.

Thank you for believing in our ideas, our flavors, our creativity, and the soul behind Espressoul.
