Throwback to October 2016! 🍻❤️

Almost 10 years ago, this picture was taken at The Local No. 7.

Looking at this photo brings back so many memories. This was before the babies, before most of us bought our first homes (thanks arttheatlantamortgageguy& stacyslocumrealtor!), before marriages, promotions, and many of life’s unexpected twists and turns.

Who would have guessed that nearly a decade later we’d still be friends, coworkers, and one big restaurant family?

Since this picture was taken:

❤️ Renee and Mullikin got married.

🍺 Alex married a super cool chick ,worked his way up to Manager.

🍸 Jodi became a bartender and manager.

👶 Morgan married everyone’s BFF Roy and welcomed a sweet baby.

👶 Faith married Roy’s best friend, had a baby, and helped open Ford’s BBQ.

🌎 Luis, our owner and fearless leader, has opened additional restaurants, traveled to some amazing places, and remained the steady leader and supporter we’ve all counted on through the years.

The restaurant industry isn’t exactly known for people staying in one place forever, which makes this group even more special. Nearly 10 years later, many of us are still here—working together, celebrating life’s milestones together, and supporting each other through the tough times.

That doesn’t happen by accident. It says a lot about the culture Luis has built and the relationships that have grown along the way.

Here’s to old pictures, lifelong friendships, and a work family that’s become actual family. ❤️🍻

We’re proud to support a great cause right here in our community! ❤️

The Mountain Mums Garden Club is collecting aluminum pop tabs to help benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities, and we’re excited to be a collection point.

Those little tabs may seem small, but they add up to make a big difference for families staying close to their children during medical treatment.

Next time you stop by, bring your saved pop tabs and drop them off with us! Together, we can help support families when they need it most.

🎓✨ Huge congratulations to our girl Addison!! ✨🎓

If you’ve been to The Local No. 7, chances are Addison has greeted you with a smile, kept the chaos under control, and somehow still managed to graduate in the TOP 10% of her class wearing enough cords to pull a fishing boat. 😅👏

She’s also a straight-up soccer star on top of it all. Cleats on the field, game face locked in, and still showing up to work ready to crush a shift. ⚽🔥

We are so incredibly proud of her! Addison is a wonderful host, an amazing employee, a good friend, a fierce athlete, and clearly one heck of a student.

This one hits extra special for us because all three siblings have worked here at The Local No. 7, and now they’re all off to college… leaving two of our favorite regulars officially empty nesters. 🥹

So if you see her parents in here celebrating, do us a favor… buy them a cocktail or two. They’ve earned it. 🍸😉

Congratulations Addison! We can’t wait to see all the incredible things you do next. Go make some noise in college, kiddo. ❤️

It’s smoky, creamy, crunchy, messy in the best possible way… basically a West Coast daydream on a bun. 🌊🔥

There are some people in this community who quietly make a difference every single day — and Luis Finley is absolutely one of them. ❤️

We are beyond proud to see Luis recognized as Tucker’s Citizen of the Month. His kindness, leadership, hard work, and genuine love for this community shine through in everything he does. Tucker is a better place because of people like him.

As the owner and operator of Ford’s BBQ & The Local No. 7, Luis has poured his heart into creating places where people can gather, celebrate, and feel at home. Beyond the restaurants, he’s always finding ways to support the community and the people around him — often without wanting any recognition for it.

This honor is so well deserved, and we couldn’t be happier to see him celebrated. Congratulations, Luis — Tucker is lucky to have you. 👏

Tucker Day, y’all showed up and showed out. We had an absolute blast — appreciate everyone who came through and showed love!

Tucker Day showed OUT today and we loved every second of it! 🎉

From the incredible live music to all the awesome local vendors, and that BIG parade rolling through town—y’all made it something special.

We even had the Tucker High School Tigers Football team stop by and show some love 💪🏽🐅 Nothing better than seeing the next generation of Tucker greatness repping the community!

And the party’s not slowing down… our dining room and patios are still packed and the good times are rolling!

Tucker, you showed up and showed out. Days like this remind us why we love being part of this community. ❤️

10 years. A whole decade of Alex behind the bar at The Local No. 7 🙌

Don’t let the beard and tattoos fool you—this guy is as sweet as they come. When he’s not slinging drinks and taking care of our community like a pro, he’s bird watching, hanging with his super cool wife, or enjoying a “little” Jameson.

Alex is the kind of person who makes everyone feel at home the second they walk in. He’s witty, punny, and just the right amount of silly—but when it’s time to get down to business, he’s got it handled. Need a shift covered in a pinch? He’s there. Disc golf game with the crew? He’s there too.

We truly couldn’t do this without him, and we’re beyond grateful for everything he’s done (and continues to do) every single day.

Happy 10-year anniversary, Alex—we love ya, dude 🍻

After hitting pause in 2020, tonight we finally brought trivia night home again and man… seeing familiar faces walk through that door just hit different.

Shoutout to our OG crew “The Trivia Junkies” holding it down like they never left. Some things don’t change… still competitive, still loud, still probably arguing over one question 😏

This crew right here has been rocking with us since day one of Local No. 7 trivia and we couldn’t be happier to have them back at their table where they belong.
