The renovation and rehabilitation of the Missildines, Bank and Jackson Buildings began in 2014. The goal is to return these buildings to their original roles as cornerstones in the cultural and civic life of downtown Tryon. The facades have been rebuilt to echo their earlier architectural history. Residences on the second floors, retail stores at street-level and a restaurant in the basement will provide energy to the intersection and act as a catalyst for ongoing improvements to downtown Tryon.
