Line Cooks WANTED in TRUCKEE
Morgans Lobster Shack & Fish market in Downtown Truckee Ca. Is now hiring kitchen staff for what is one of the most vibrant and talked about restaurants in the area, with the vision of being everyone's first choice for fresh fish and food!
We are seeking enthusiastic full time cooks with the possibility of full time . These Individuals are passionate, motivated, and dedicated to excellence and have a desire to make a positive impact. This is a hourly position of $ $18 to $22 hr depending on experience.
Ideal Cook candidates: will have had any experience in a Restaurant and have the ability to efficiently work in a busy work station
Job Functions:
*Prepare, cook and present food to order
*Completes assigned "prep work" as needed.
* Stores and rotates stock.
* Cleans, sanitizes and organizes work area.
* Adheres to all state and local health and safety regulations.
Qualification Standards:
*Must be 18 years old or older.
* Ability to move up to 50 lbs.
* Must have sufficient mobility to move and/or operate in work area.
* Must be able to observe and ensure product is prepared and presented to company requirements.
* Must have basic math skills, including understanding of units of measure.
* Must meet any state, county or municipal regulation pertaining to health risk concerns about food handling -- MUST have California Food Handler's Certification.
