Rachel of is back for August with some good ole Shakespeare, perfect for these dog days of summer. She'll be there at 6:30pm to start sign ups and then you will choose your roles on a first-come, first-serve basis by going down that list so be sure to get there early to pick your ideal roles. Fairycore and fantasy and shakespearean dress highly encouraged!!

Scripts & Sips is a community play reading night for everyone. Participation is not necessary but definitely appreciated and enthusiasm is the only qualification for participation. Join the illustrious .diamond for a fierce D&D themed drag show as she leads her fellow companions through the Temple of Trepidation.
Part 2 of a 3 part campaign, this D&D brunch perfectly blends the fun and excitement of a drag show with the compelling storytelling of D&D!

Featuring drag performances by .diamond , some original music, and a temple filled with hidden secrets!
While this story is part of a bigger series, the show is designed to be enjoyed by both new players/attendees, as well as returning so if you missed the first show don't worry! Join Golden Leaf Books for a 'A Court of Thorns & Roses' 6 Midnight Release Party on Monday, October 26th at Bard & Baker. Prepare to winnow to Troy and enjoy ACOTAR trivia, prizes, special cocktails and non-alcoholic mocktails, cozy Night Court townhouse vibes, cosplay and ball gowns, and of course a midnight book pickup of the new book in the series!
Tickets are $10 and include event entry and trivia participation. ACOTAR 6 is sold separately and should be preordered through Golden Leaf Books for midnight pickup. Advance tickets required & can be purchased at www.goldenleafbooks.com which is also where books can be preordered as well!
Only 60 tickets available, so order now before they sell out!

Join the fine folks of every month as we gather around an open mic to hear our fellow humans tell us their truths.
If you’re familiar with The Moth, it’s kind of like that. At Front Parlor, tellers volunteer their names in a can, and the MC selects the order at random. (Bribes encouraged.) Tellers share 5-minute, true stories based on a common theme. Front Parlor also features “flash nonfiction” — one- or two-sentence, audience-submitted stories responding to a prompt based on the evening’s theme. Flash nonfiction is a relatively painless (and anonymous) way to share your stories.
The next meetup is Wednesday August 12th in The Cottage at Bard & Baker. Doors open at 7:00 PM, sign ups starting at 7:15 PM, and the show starts at 7:30 PM. The theme this month is 'What was I saying?' Stories MUST be true, told in about 5 minutes time, and you may not use notes. You can find out more information from them on their IG at

Join us every Friday night 5pm-9pm as we do a different themed cocktail flight each week.
Reservations aren't required but are recommended as Friday nights can get busy. 518-948-6693 to reserve a table.

Do you love assembling/building models but would like to do so outside of your own home enjoying the company of others? Join us at Bard & Baker for a fun GUNPLA & Model Casual Build Meetup!
Bring your own kit and materials and come hang out to build with fellow hobbyists 6pm-8pm! Not into model building but still looking to hang out with fellow crafters and build community? All crafters are welcome! Feel free to bring anything you're working on and enjoy the company of others. All are welcome. This is a very inclusive and welcoming group great for solo folks, or you can bring a friend or partner with you!
