Heartfelt Goodbye ...
When we first looked at Trinity as the place to open our business, we saw something special. ❤️
We saw a community that deserved fresh, healthy food and a place where families could gather to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, milestones, and all of life’s special moments without having to drive to Houston.
We didn’t just want to open a business here. We wanted to become part of the community.
We wanted to create jobs, keep money right here in the local economy, introduce people to fresh food and healthy options, and build something that could grow alongside the families and people who call Trinity home.
We came here believing that hard work, experience, education, perseverance, and a genuine love for the community could help us build something meaningful.
Unfortunately, our journey turned out to be much more challenging
than we ever anticipated.
As a small, independent business, we encountered obstacles, requirements, and challenges that made it increasingly difficult for us to operate and grow. We understand that cities have regulations, responsibilities, and processes that are important. We respect that and wholeheartedly agree. But we also learned firsthand just how difficult it can be for a small, locally owned business to navigate those challenges while trying to establish itself and serve its community.
That experience changed our perspective.
It showed us just how much courage, patience, sacrifice, and support it takes for a small business to get off the ground — and how important it is for businesses and local leaders to find ways to work together.
Through all of this, one thing has never changed: our gratitude for the people of Trinity and surrounding areas.
To everyone who walked through our doors, shared a meal with us, brought their family, celebrated with us, encouraged us, told a friend about us, supported us, or simply stopped by to say hello — thank you. ❤️
You may never know how much those moments meant to us.
You gave us more than customers. You gave us conversations, friendships, laughter, memories, and the opportunity to become a small part of your lives. Those are the things we will remember long after this chapter has ended.
We came to Trinity because we believed this community deserved more choices, more opportunities, and businesses willing to invest in its future.
We genuinely wanted to be one of those businesses.
Although this chapter is coming to an end, we hope our experience can serve as a reminder of how important it is to support small, locally owned businesses and to recognize the challenges they face when trying to build something from the ground up.
Small businesses are built on dreams, long hours, personal sacrifice, and a whole lot of heart. Sometimes those dreams work out exactly as we imagined. Sometimes the path takes us somewhere we never expected.
For us, this is a goodbye — but it is not a goodbye without gratitude.
Thank you, Trinity, for welcoming us. Thank you for giving us a chance.
Thank you for the memories, the friendships, the conversations, the meals shared, and the moments we will carry with us.
We truly wanted to make a difference here. We truly wanted to give something back to this community.
And we will always be grateful to the people who gave us the opportunity to try.
With love and gratitude,
Andre & Casey 🌿
