Return to Party Beach Vol. 5 | Kölsch-style ale | 5% ABV | Collaboration with Cigar City Brewing🍻

Bring the BarrieHaus Kölsch tradition home with cans to go and our authentic German glassware! This crisp, refreshing 5% Kölsch is available in four-packs, and you can pair it with 0,3L Stange glasses to enjoy it the way it was meant to be shared.

For the Nerds 🤓: The word Kölsch is an appellation and only to be used with beers brewed in Köln, Germany - similar to sparkling wines in Champagne and Bourbon in Kentucky. This beer style is one of only a few, ale-lager hybrids recognized by Randy Moser in Tasting Beer. What’s an ale-lager hybrid, you ask? The ale yeast strain of the Rhine Valley used in this beer prefers fermentation and lagering at colder temps typically reserved for lager yeast strains.

This Kölsch has become a tradition with our friends at Cigar City Brewing. We have collaborated on a Kölsch beer for the past 5 years and now we are in our “Ybor Era” as CCB joins us in Ybor City. Welcome home, neighbors.

Collabs, beer fests, oh my!

Brittney and Jim have been on the move this summer, brewing and festing with some of the best in the lager world. Here's a quick look at their latest adventures.

First stop: Framingham, MA, where they teamed up with our lager-loving friends at Jack's Abby. The result? A brand-new Pre-Prohibition Pils collab that's headed to our taps later this summer.

While in Massachusetts, Brittney joined Andy Crouch and John Holl for an All About Beer Podcast panel discussing the economics of lagers, alongside Todd from Good Word Brewing and Tom from Goldfinger Brewery. Keep your ears peeled—that episode is coming soon!

Next up was Notch Brewing's Forever Lager Fest in Brighton, MA, where they poured beers and shared pints with fellow lager devotees from Fox Farm, Triple Crossing, and beyond.

The festing didn't stop there. Back in Florida, they joined friends at Ivanhoe Park Lager House for Crispy Boi Fest in Orlando.

We're grateful for the friendships, collaborations, and community that lager beer continues to build across state lines. Here's to good beer, great people, and living the lager life.

The BarrieHaus Mug Club is ALL that, and a bag of chips!

90s Prom at the Tampa crib was off the hook! We closed down the taproom for one fly, all out banger of a night with our lager lovers! No scrubs, just mad beats, dancing, chow and, duh, beer!

This Father's Day Weekend, both BarrieHaus Tampa and Trinity are bringing a taste of Cologne, Germany, to the Haus with traditional Kölsch service for the release of Return to Party Beach, our collaboration Kölsch with Cigar City Brewing

Bring the fam and friends along with pops, traditional Kölsch service fits the "more the merrier" vibe! Your Kölsch will be served in a traditional 0.2L Stange, keeping every pour crisp, cold, and refreshing for the Florida summer. When your glass is empty, your server will replace it with a fresh pour tableside by Kranz —no need to get up for a refill. Each guest receives a Kölsch passport, and your server will mark each Stange as they're served. When you're finished, simply flip your passport over to signal you're done. We'll pour till you say, "No more!"
