How about that Garden Party!! 🌸 Thank you to all who came out to enjoy such a lovely summer evening. The turnout was even better than expected and you all brought such lovely energy! Thanks for your patience in the buffet line :) Some people asked why I didn’t post the menu earlier, so here’s the answer….

I hadn’t finished the menu until the day before!! The beauty of this event was that it was all based on the farm inventory that week and what I decided to pick up at the farm stands down the road the days leading up to it. I had all the ideas outlined, but the exact spread came together basically as we prepped it. Some ingredients had to change on the spot, others got highlighted many times over (love you, heirloom tomatoes!)

So, Another big thank you to our guests for allowing me to pour lots of heart and creativity into this crazy buffet spread without totally knowing what it would be like! It was a lot of work, I will admit, but lots of fun and my hope is that everyone who came had fun sampling all the sweet and savory delights we put on the table!

Cheers to summertime in Northern Michigan and all the farmers who work so hard year round to cultivate the food that local homes and restaurants have the privelege to cook and create with!! 🫶🌸☀️🌻🍉

This Thursday! Sundresses, linens and picnic blankets encouraged. Eat, drink, play games, enjoy the sun and live music on the lawn.

No tickets! Pay per plate at our farm fresh buffet upon arrival and get some drinks from Old Mission Distilling. Can’t wait!

The Coconut Shuffle: does it make you think more about a deck of cards or a dance move? Genuinely curious.

You guys have been loving this one and so are we — coconut water iced americano, vanilla coconut cold foam, and toasted coconut flake garnish. 🥥🌴

Have you tried the breakfast burrito with cheese crisp? We throw slices of cheddar straight onto the grill and flip the burrito onto it, then it melts like a lovely cheesy blanket. Inspired by a burrito I had at a coffee shop in El Salvador once, a small add-on that feels deluxe :)

A buffet spread full of unique farm to table dishes — you get to fill your plate and then come back for dessert. Botanical cocktails from Old Mission Distilling, live music, lawn games, and our first ever Old Mission focused farmers market at SEVEN HILLS.
