Some dishes start with a recipe.
Others start with a memory.
For me, peach cobbler is the kind of dessert that feels like family. Like being in a kitchen where nobody measured much, somebody was always tasting something, and you knew dessert was going to be worth waiting for.
That feeling is what I wanted to put on this plate.
Roasted Michigan peaches.
Warm peach syrup.
Mascarpone.
Pecan & pistachio.
A little green pistachio dust.
Familiar enough to take you back.
Different enough to remind you where you are now.
