-Why We Chose Crinale Provisions-

We chose the name Crinale Provisions because it represents both where we are and where we’re going.

“Crinale” is inspired by the Italian word for ridge or mountain crest, which felt especially meaningful to us because of our love for the mountains and our new home in the Carolinas. The mountains represent something we value deeply…nature, simplicity, tradition, and a slower, more intentional way of living.

At the same time, Crinale Provisions allows us to step more deeply into our Italian roots and ancestry. Food, family, tradition, and gathering around the table are meaningful parts of Italian culture, and we want to honor that heritage through the foods and provisions we create. We love the idea of bringing pieces of those traditions forward while also making them our own.

Provisions reflects our vision for the future of the brand. We don’t want to be limited to one product or one category. We hope Crinale Provisions will grow into a collection of thoughtfully made foods and goods inspired by different places, traditions, and ingredients…from handcrafted pantry staples and baked goods to teas, preserves, wellness products, and other specialty foods.

For us, Crinale Provisions is where our love of the mountains meets our Italian heritage and our passion for good food. It gives us the freedom to explore many different types of provisions while remaining grounded in the values of family, tradition, craftsmanship, and bringing people together around something made with care.

Crinale Provisions represents where we are, where we come from, and where we hope to go.
