Good morning and happy Friday all my beautiful people!! Last day until the weekend, and I am so ready for it. This week has been crazy(in the best way possible) here for us so hopefully we get a little time to chill and decompress during the weekend. But not until after 2, because as always, we are here for you from 8-2 on Saturday and 9-2 on Sunday. So make sure you come by and see us here at Dawn's Cafe.

Today is friday, so that means frappe friday here, but I didnt do one for myself this morning. Ill be sure to make myself one this afternoon though! I had a bagel with cream cheese and we brewed a new single orgin that we have never offered here before, so I had to try that this morning. It is a light-medium roast from Papua New Guinea. As with most single orgins, it is a very different and unique taste. Im pretty sure that I like it more then the Vietnamese that we just ran through. But I dont think it will over take the Ugandan. I also made another drink off of the list of possibilities for our summer special menu. It was a white chocolate and strawberry macchiato with pieces of strawberry and topped with whip cream. It was very good and the strawberry combos have been a favorite with you all so im thinking that this one has a good chance to make the final menu.

I also have a fresh batch of cold brew brewing as we speak and it will be poured tonight just in time for the weekend. So make sure you stop and grab yourself a cup while its super fresh! And that also means that we only have a few cups of the batch from earlier this week left, so if you want some, get here soon!

Good morning and happy Thursday beautiful people. Already through midweek and only one day away from the end of the week! It has already been a busy morning here at Dawn's Cafe, but we are still wanting to see you and help you get your Thursday started on the right foot. Or come by and see us a little later on and grab yourself a midday treat with our hand dipped ice cream or one of our delicious crumb cakes.

Thursdays are my errand day so I had to have my morning drink while working. This is a drink we are testing for our summer menu. It is a Pina colada latte. Espresso chose made with coconut and pineapple syrup and added to milk, topped with cold foam and a little drizzle. It is surprisingly a little better then I was expecting. I dont know if it will make the cut, but it is definitely a contender. If I try it again, I may add a few coconut flakes.

Good morning and happy humpday beautiful people! Wow, already midweek. Short weeks are so great. We hope your week is going as good as it can go and that it is flying by for you the same way that it is for us. Lots of little projects going on here and still working hard to narrow down this summer menu for you all. In the meantime, come by to see us and grab yourself some of our hand dipped ice cream to help cool you down in this nasty humidity.

This is our Dawn's Cafe exclusive Dawns Daybreak. It is our coastal take on a ice cream float. It is 2 scoops of rainbow sherbet in a cup with starry soda. It is so good, light, and refreshing! Come by and try one for yourself

Good morning and happy Tuesday all my beautiful people! Hopefully you all had a wonderful memorial day and didnt let the rain ruin your day. We had a great day up here at Dawn's Cafe seeing so many of yall and then heading home a little early for some chill time. The other great thing about holiday Mondays is that it makes for a short week! So that means we can really give it our all and absolutely crush it!

Our spring special menu is about to come to an end so I wanted to highlight one of your favorites for one last time. This has by far been our most popular special menu item ever offered. I have went through a ridiculous amount of coconut flakes, lol! It is our iced summer breeze latte, which is coconut and caramel with real coconut flakes in a cup drizzled with caramel and topped with sweet cold foam and more drizzle and flakes. It has been a massive hit with you all. So come down and grab yourself one while its still available, or come try to talk us into keeping it on the specials menu!

Good morning and happy Monday all my beautiful people. Its the best kind of Monday that there is, and that's a holiday Monday!! I hope you all have some fun and amazing plans lined up and that u spend it happy and surrounded by loved ones! But also, dont forget to remember to give thanks for what the day is actually for, and that's to remember and be grateful for the ones that gave the ultimate sacrifice. It will be a shorter day for us so that we can do exactly that. We will be closing at 1pm today but will be back open at 6 am tomorrow morning.

This morning im having a butter pecan cortado. I need that strong caffine this morning, lol. A cortado is a double shot of espresso with a equal amount of steamed milk, no foam. It is a strong drink, but the milk takes away a bit of the sharpness and makes it smoother and not bitter. It is one of my favorite drinks for a fast acting pick me up. Im pairing it with our avocado toast. We were at the end of the loaf and we dont serve the ends or the piece next to the end because they are usually too small for our preference. So even though this is a decent sized avocado toast, any piece you get here will be significantly larger. Here at Dawn's Cafe, we serve a oversized avocado toast, using sourdough bread, topped with avocado spread and everything seasoning. It is a light, healthy way to get a little superfood into your diet and satisfy your morning craving just right. Plus it pairs wonderfully with just about any coffee.

Good morning and welcome to the weekend beautiful people! We are open and rolling here at Dawn's Cafe and ready to help get your day off to a great start! Come by and see us on your way out to do whatever fun things you got planned for the day. We are here until 2pm and will be here again tomorrow from 9am until 2pm. Sit and chill, grab and go, or pick you up something to head back to the house and relax with. No matter how you need it, we got you covered with a ton of drink options, sweet treats, light food, and now hand dipped ice cream.

This is our double scoop chocolate, in a waffle cone, with chocolate drizzle. We offer 2 types of cones, 2 types of bowls, and 5 different flavors. Come grab you one today and start your weekend off with a summertime vibe!

We also want to let you know that we will be closing down early on Monday for Memorial day. We will open at normal time for those of you that dont have the day off, but we will be closing at 1pm. So that means monday will be 6am-1pm.

Good morning and happy friday all my beautiful people! Its finally the last day of the week. Congrats for making it to the end! And now we are rewarded with what's sure to be a spectacular weekend! And its the last day of school, so that's also huge for a ton of yall! It has been a great week here and we hope yours has been even better. Now its time to rest, relax, recharge, have a little fun, and get ready to make next week even better!

Today we want to introduce a new addition here at Dawn's Cafe. Alot of our people have been seeing this for a couple of weeks, and some our you have already had some, but today we want to announce the official launch of ice cream here at Dawns Cafe. We won't be going crazy with ice cream, but we will have the staple flavors of vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and rainbow sherbet. We will also rotate a seasonal flavor just to add a little variance and to bring you new choices. Our ice cream will be hand dipped and available in a cone or a bowl. Both choices will have the option to upgrade to a waffle cone or bowl. We will have sprinkles, marshmallows, whip cream, and drizzles available for toppings. We will also offer milkshakes in pretty much any reasonable flavor. On top of these, we will offer a few specialty items such as an affogato, a brownie sundae, and a Dawns Daybreak. Come down and give it a try, we are very confident that you will not be disappointed!

Good morning and happy Thursday beautiful people! We are officially over the hump and only one day away from the last day of the week. Also the last day of most schools is right around the corner so it'll be the first day of summer vacation for a ton of people. We told you all that it was going to be a great week, and it definitely has been here. We hope it has been for all of you as well. Lots of things happing here in the next couple of weeks. I know that for a ton of you, we are already part of your daily routine(which we love), so you might be caught up on what's all coming. If youre not, come by and let us fill you in. Or just pop by to get your daily caffine boost, or treat, or smoothie, or whatever it is that you are craving today!

This morning, im having(and introducing) our newest, Dawn's Cafe exclusive, cloud drink. This is our passion cloud. It is a passion fruit and mango based cloud drink, drizzled in mango, with real mango bits added, and topped with whip cream. All of our cloud drinks have been a massive hit, and we are sure that this one will be as well. It is incredible! Refreshing, flavorful, and very satisfying. Come by and try one out for yourself. This one will surely rank as one of your favorites. Idk if it is as good as the sunset cloud to me personally, but it is pretty close!

Good morning and happy humpday beautiful people! The week is halfway over and it is zooming by. We hope the week has been great for you all so far. Ours has been magnificent and we plan to go into the weekend on an even higher note! Come see us here at Dawn's Cafe and let us help you speed right through the midweek blues. We are currently narrowing down our summer specials menu, so make sure you stop by and grab your favorite spring drink before it leaves for something new.

This morning im trying a mocha, butterscotch iced latte with chocolate drizzle, sweet cold foam, and cocoa powder. I like this one very much. It isn't as sweet as the last few I tested, so its a little more my preference. I am also a big butterscotch fan as well, so I figured I would like this one.

Good morning and happy Tuesday all my beautiful people! Its a gorgeous morning out there and we hope that your week is starting off as incredible as ours has been. We are hard at work preparing to roll out some new things here and just getting our processes down, and we also also testing out all kinds of drink iterations to find the best ones for our soon to be released, summer special menu. Come by and see us here at Dawn's Cafe and make us a part of your day. We can help caffinate you if youre feeling sluggish, get a little food in you if youre feeling famished, get some natural hydration and electrolytes into you if youre feeling a little weighed down, or get some sweets for you if you got a sweet tooth craving going on!

This morning im trying another new drink out to see if it makes the cut for our summer menu. This is a iced chocolate, vanilla, raspberry latte, drizzled with raspberry sauce and topped with a little whipped cream, chocolate shake, and vanilla powder. It is very good so far. Not as sweet as I expected, but still plenty sweet for my taste. Still have a lot to try so we will see if it makes the final menu. Let us know your thought when you stop by!
