Hello Friends, we have been putting off this post till we got 100% confirmation that the Misty Morning Cafe is Not going to be rebuilt.
The landlord says times are too risky. We understand completely but are Extremely Saddened by this news. We can’t express how much we miss y’all. Our friends that we have made both in employees and customers mean the world to us. Thank you so much for all your loyalty and support over the years. We will be looking for a place to reopen in the spring if all works out. We hope to be able to reopen in our beloved Townsend. Please keep in touch with us. So much love to you all!!!

Hello Friends,
It is with a sad and heavy hearts that we have to tell everyone that our restaurant burned last night. We are in shock, devastated and heartbroken. We are also thankful no one was hurt.
We want to send out a HUGE Thank you to the firefighters who responded to the fire. You put out the fire and kept the fire contained so it didn’t spread to our neighbors. The night is kind of a blur but I do remember feeling scared for the firefighters, you are very brave and professional!!
Thank you to the Townsend Police Department for responding so quickly when the call came in.
We love our restaurant, Townsend and the people of Townsend and the surrounding areas. We have made so many life long friends and we truly value each and everyone of you. You have no idea how much your love, kindness and support means to us. To all of you who have been praying, sending loving messages, and asking how to help; we thank you, it boosts our spirits very much. We have no idea what will happen next, but we do know that God is Good and he has got us.
We hope we can reopen soon and y’all can “Come on In!!”
We also want to say that our troubles, while big to us, are small compared to what’s going on in the world right now.
We pray that the virus ends quickly.
We pray for those that are suffering because it .
