Sweets at the cup this week at the cup!

We have two sweet specials this week, starting with our orange-white chocolate scones.

For our second pastry special, we are excited to showcase our new Apple Dumplings. Each dumpling is made with a whole apple and served with whipped cream and cinnamon.

Check out our lunch options this Monday at the cup!

With a new month comes a new salad; for this October, we have our delicious Chicken Bacon Ranch salad with croutons and tomatoes.

We have our Rachel sandwich this week, made with turkey, swiss, and our house made thousand island dressing and coleslaw. Also, try the coleslaw for your side.

For our soup, we have a savory ham-and-bean soup with carrots, onions, celery, ham, and great northern beans.

Happy Monday!
This week we have tomato soup paired with our tried-and-true Grown-Up Grilled Cheese made with with bacon, tomato, mozzarella, and garlic aioli.
If you want something besides soup with your sandwich, try our potato salad.
For something sweet, we’ve made chocolate chip and vanilla scones.
This is the last week for our fall harvest salad, served with your choice of poppy-seed dressing or raspberry vinaigrette.

The Cup

Their mission is simple: to build community, one cup at a time, one person at a time.

And today, that mission felt especially fitting.

It’s the conversations that happen over it.
The familiar faces.
The first introductions.
The unexpected conversations with someone you may have never otherwise met.

I spent some time sitting down and personally meeting with a member of our community
sharing a cup, sharing a conversation, and getting to know a person with ideas that make our community the beautiful place to call home.

Because community doesn’t always happen at a big event or around a boardroom table.

Sometimes, it happens across a little coffee table.

One cup at a time.
One conversation at a time.
One person at a time.

And that is how a community becomes a little more connected one cup at a time.

People liked our soup so much that we ran out! We made a fresh batch in a big pot this time. Try some before it’s gone again!
