Dylan Hartmann 🎸🎤
Dylan Hartmann is a musician excited to play the gig of a lifetime at the Keystone Theatre in Towanda. His songs, like "Lamoka Nights," "Dirt Road," "Color of the Water," and "Finding Home," celebrate the beauty of his hometown. For Dylan, music is all about community; he wants to bring people together and help them connect with one another.
His musical journey began in fifth grade when he picked up the bass, thanks to his father getting lessons for him with a great teacher named Ed Schmitt Jr who always kept Dylan wanting to learn more. Dylan then fell out of music for a bit until highschool, he ended up breaking his hand in 9th grade which inspired him to learn guitar. He taught himself by watching YouTube videos and soon started jamming with his friends in the barn and Luke’s pool house which eventually formed into the band, Poolhouse. They always have a great time playing together, and when they finally landed that first gig, they never looked back.
About a year ago, they began writing their own songs, and since then, it’s been an amazing ride. For Dylan, it’s all about sharing his love for music and creating a sense of belonging for everyone.
