Old Moose Coffee & Events

Old Moose Coffee & Events is more than a coffee shop—it’s a welcoming community gathering place in downtown Torrington. Along with coffee, specialty drinks, and food, The Old Moose provides a space for live music, classes, community activities, private celebrations, meetings, and other special events. Their goal is to create a place where people can gather, connect, and enjoy something happening right here in Goshen County.

We might just be Goshen County’s best-kept secret. ☕️

Tucked away in the heart of Torrington, The Old Moose is a little different from your everyday coffee shop.

We specialize in a clean, welcoming atmosphere, high-quality coffee and espresso drinks, and creating a space where people genuinely enjoy spending time.

But what matters most to us goes beyond what’s in the cup.

We want The Old Moose to be a force for good in our community—a place that brings people together, encourages connection, supports our neighbors, and makes Goshen County just a little better.

Come find a comfortable corner, grab a great cup of coffee, and stay awhile.

Come discover Goshen County’s best-kept secret. 🫎☕️

AI-generated marketing content is becoming less effective in many small towns because folks are rapidly adapting to it and seeing through it. The issue isn’t that AI is inherently bad.. but it’s just that many small businesses use it to produce tons of generic content with little original thinking or human perspective. Have you heard the term "Ai slop" before? Have you seen it lately?
