Here we GOOOO! 20TH YEAR! At the Topsfield Fair

In 2007 we started The Whoopie Wagon under the sheep tent during a 3 day craft event at the 2007 Topsfield Fair. My Mom sold the whoopie pies and I baked all day while the boys were in school. After school they went to the tent to finish up the night and enjoyed some bonus fair time. My mom celebrated her 99th birthday last month!
In 2008 we took a leap of faith and moved into a booth which has been our 11 day home for the past 19 years. We have had so many amazing family memories with so many familiar faces each and every fair! Thank you to everyone that has made us their "must stop" place at the fair! We love and appreciate all the energy and excitement. See you at the fair!

One of New England’s great fall traditions returns this October when the Topsfield Fair opens in Topsfield, Massachusetts. Running October 2–12, 2026, the fair brings together agricultural exhibits, livestock, midway rides, classic fair food, competitions and eleven days of entertainment at the historic fairgrounds.
The Topsfield Fair traces its roots to the Essex Agricultural Society, founded in 1818, and agriculture remains at the heart of the celebration. The 42nd All New England Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off kicks things off on opening day, alongside horse and oxen pulling, Dock Dogs, rodeos, parades and livestock competitions. This year’s entertainment includes Grand Funk Railroad, Ashley McBryde, Chubby Checker and the Flying Wallendas.
The fair opens at 4 p.m. Friday, October 2, and runs through Monday, October 12, when the traditional final-day attractions include Figure 8 racing and the Demolition Derby. Giant pumpkins, livestock barns, midway lights and fried fair food have made Topsfield an autumn ritual for generations of New England families.
