HAPPY RAINY SUNDAY! ☔️

Ever wonder what goes into making one of our ice cream cakes? Here’s a sneak peak (at 2.5x the speed 😅) ! This is one of our Black and White cakes 🎂 Half chocolate and half vanilla with whipped cream frosting then finished with half rainbow 🌈 sprinkles and half chocolate 🍫 sprinkles to make it super fun! 🤩

What’s not in this video - each ice cream cake has to be made in advance to allow it to freeze and set completely (or it’ll melt all over when we try to work with it 🫠) When we are making a flavor in our production schedule that we also want to make cake molds with we will fill the molds on the day we are making that flavor! This is why we aren’t able to have cakes done same day or next day! It’s about a 3-4 day process depending on the schedule and in the summer we normally are about 1-2 weeks out !

We love being able to create super premium ice cream and then turning it into the most creamy, delicious cakes to help our customers celebrate their special days 🫶🏼 ✨

Our Sneads Ferry to-go freezer is STOCKED with all different flavor cakes (and they don’t last IYKYK) so if you are celebrating something or you want a fancy sweet treat, stop in and grab one! 🥳

HAPPY TACO 🌮 TUESDAY ! The third highlight in our Topsail Island Small Business flavor series is very fitting for today … 🥁

You may know them as the taco destination on Topsail but they’re so much more than that ! Our pals at Shaka taco got you covered whether you just came out of the ocean 🌊 in surf city or practicing your swing in hampstead at iron clad golf ⛳️ ! Our personal routine is hitting them up for dinner on Thursdays after our weekly Hampstead Farmers’ Market run!

They have tacos, nachos, quesadillas, seasonal specials, killer drinks and just the best spaces to gather with your people for a fresh meal 🫶🏼

When we asked Cody/ Steve what flavor they thought would represent Shaka well, they said something spicy but sweet like a spicy chocolate. We said DONE & DONE ✅ What we didn’t tell them is that we wanted to also make ice cream tacos in their honor …

Introducing the Shaka Choco Taco 🌮 🍨 🤙🏽
We made the Shaka Choco flavor to scoop but if you wanted to take it up a notch grab one of our handmade, ice cream tacos. A freshly made waffle cone rolled into a taco shell shape, hand packed with a few flavor choices (yes, we did Sea Salt Oreo) , dipped in chocolate and then topped with some of our favorite toppings: rainbow sprinkles, peanuts or crushed Oreos!

To make your Monday brighter, we have a featured flavor drop (in dairy free too!) 🍦

S’mores !! 🏕️
Chocolatey base, marshmallow cream, graham cracker crumbs and all the chocolate chip goodness to make this delicious flavor 😋 We heard temps are supposed to be in the low 80s/70s this week and that feels like bonfire season starting!

We made a dairy free version too so all can enjoy!
