Thank you Walmart! We celebrated Black History Month with some East African foods.

One chapati with chai/tea (tea bag, suger, lime + hot water) is all one needs to start the day and be awesome..

We have looked at a couple of places that will be PAC permanent place. God's timing is the best, keep the faith.

Exploring some West African foods in Albany. Their goat stew was really good. I love their idea, you serve whatever you want and they just weigh & charge you per pound. That way, one has an opportunity to taste everything.

I took these pics earlier but didn't post because it really got busy. So the quantity you see here might not be the real amount we have right now.

We have a few things remaining. A couple of plates of ribs and goat meat stew. We made more mandazi.

We are out of chapati, chicken sambusas and we do not plan to make more since its our last day.

Our last day, your last chance to try out Ugandan food. We might close earlier before 8pm.

Oh my heart..💜💕!
This child of mine is a child after God's heart. Her maturity, love for people and thoughtfulness is beyond measures.

Last week Dorothy Pearl asked if we could do a charity to celebrate her birthday. We said "yes" even before she told us what she wanted us to do. Today she recorded this clip on my phone while i was sleeping, tired from work. She came and woke me up to ask for the address to Jenny's pop-up restaurant on the block.

She said the idea just came up in her mind because at her school they have 3 special need kids in 2nd grade and she wants them to feel loved and that they belong. How can any parent say No to this kindness?

Bring those lovely kids down this weekend June 25th and 26th at Noto 822 N, KS Ave. We will be there from 11am to 8pm. We will have something special for them.

"Let young children come to me..."
Who knows this verse?
