The Hardest Goodbye,

I knew that at some point in our life this day would come and it would be the end of over 2 decades of working and living in the Toms River area. But the thought of the end of Serenity?…that’s a tough one to imagine although life must move forward. Since my mother passed at the end of July, family has became even more important to me than ever. As many of you know, Jeannette and I have family in the south and in Florida and we want to be closer to them to watch our grandsons grow and become the amazing young men we hope them to be. We have been here for over ten years and what a decade it has been!Our highs and lows, Serenity has seen them all. I speak of her (Serenity) as if she is a living thing and for me, she is and will always be a part of me. She married Jeannette and I, she helped raise our family, helped put us in a position to own our house; she has done more for us than we could ever expected and for that, I will always love her and be grateful for her.

There are so many of you who have been with me since the beginning or even just the last year and to all of you, thank you from the bottom of my heart, each and everyone of you will always have a special place in my heart.

Just so that everyone is aware, there will be a new operator coming into the space with a new name and they will have some of the same staff that as been with us. I hope that you give them an opportunity to feed you and make you feel at home in their way.

To our staff, all we can say is, each of you have become part of our family and we thank you for each day, each year, and for some each decade. We love each and every one of you and always will. Lastly to my wife Jeannette, thank you for your patience, your support and your unwavering love. Because of you, we were able to make Serenity what she is and was. I love you J you are my rock.

Again thank you all for the time we spent together I will never forget it. Ever.

May the Good Lord bless each and everyone of you.
