Southern Living Magazine listed us as the 8th best joint of the south 2019. How did chocolate & barbecue happen in the same place is the question we get often. We started a hobby at home making bean to bar chocolate. Sales went very well at farmers markets and with some retailers. Then we decided to open our own store. Chocolate sales alone were not going to be enough to make it our livelihood, so

we decided to add a cafe to the business plan. When we found the old house on North Elm Street in Tomball and looked at the market, we decided Old Town Tomball could use a good barbecue joint. That's exactly how we got here. We make chocolate and truffles from raw cocoa beans, and smoke USDA Prime Grade briskets in the oldest building in Tomball. Pretty sweet and smokey is what we were thinking. Love to have you stop by and check us out. Ranked #6 in Texas Monthly's top 50.

Folks, we haven’t had to say we are Sold Out in awhile. Quite a long while because we planned for a bigger day but the day was far far busier than anything we anticipated. It’s been like this all day. We are sold out for the day. We’re very grateful for the turnout, but incredibly sorry we couldn’t cover the demand we experienced. Please accept our sincerest apologies. We really try not to let this happen but we got caught off guard.

The Tejas BLT is a new Monday special. Brisket Lettuce Tomato. These very juicy & delicious tomatoes were sourced at Tomball Farmers Market on Saturday from Fitzgerald Farms in Rosehill. Is it a BBQ or a Deli Sandwich? Let the foodies debate. It’s a $15 lunch special is what it is for sure. Chilled deli shaved smoked brisket, fresh garden tomatoes, and romain lettuce on a toasted sourdough slathered green onion aioli & aged balsamic also sourced at TFM. That’s a fresh start to the week for sure.
