Well… apparently I missed Tuesday Tim Talks today again 😂 BUT a friend reminded me that today is actually a pretty big day.

Exactly one year ago today, we started the expansion project at Rise.

We pulled the building, dug up the parking lot, tore everything apart and then set the new building in place in ONE move. 🤯

And somehow, from start to finish, we were only closed for less than two weeks.

Looking at these pictures a year later, it honestly seems crazy that we pulled it off. What a mess that parking lot was! 😂

But man… what a year it’s been.

The new space has allowed us to grow, serve more people and keep doing what we love every single day.

And none of that happens without the people on the other side of that window and our amazing team!

Our loyal customers who have been here from the start.
The people who drive through every morning.
The people who bring their friends and family.
And all of the new customers who have found us this past year.

We are incredibly grateful 🙏 for every single one of you.

When you own a small business, you can get caught up in the day-to-day and forget to stop and appreciate just how far you’ve come.

One year. One crazy project. A whole lot of coffee. And thousands of people who helped make it possible.

Well, I’m back! 😂

After Naomi filled in for me last week and did an awesome job, it’s my turn to get back in front of the camera for Tuesday Tim Talks! 🎥

This week we’re talking back to school — kids are headed back, parents are getting some peace and quiet, and the Xbox and iPads can finally get a break too! 😂

Plus, I’m showing off the Caramel Apple Crumble Latte 🍎☕️ topped with whipped cream and our crumble pie crust topping.

I was out guiding 🎣 , so Naomi decided to become Tim. 😂

She grabbed the charger, threw on the Fish Dudes and gave everyone her best impression of how I do Tuesday Tim Talks.

And honestly… it’s a little too accurate. 😂 I’m not gonna lie… she might have my mannerisms down a little TOO well. 😂

Should I be concerned? ☕️🎣

Tuesday Tim Talks is on the road! ☕️😂

This week I stopped by to hang out with my buddies Evan Mackin and Justin Rigney at Northwoods Custom Cabinetry & Precision Design.

I figured if I was going to talk coffee, I might as well do it standing in front of some absolutely beautiful Amish-built cabinets! Evan does some incredible work with cabinetry and flooring, while Justin is the mastermind behind designing homes all over the Northwoods. These guys know their stuff!

Then there’s me… standing in the middle of a cabinet showroom talking about a Caramel Frappe. 😂

The girls at Rise weren’t too happy about this one because apparently they LOVE making frappes. Sorry ladies…. 😂

And remember, our Dirty Frappes can be made in ANY flavor. So if you’ve got a favorite flavor, we can probably turn it into a frappe! Also add espresso ☕️!

Well… it’s been a few weeks. 😂

Between spending my days on the water and keeping things moving at Rise, I haven’t been doing the best job getting these videos out.

So we’re fixing that!

Today’s Tuesday Tim Talks features a drink Courtney came up with that has quickly become one of the favorites at the shop.

Sweet, creamy, refreshing and absolutely perfect for a hot summer day.

Now I just need to remember to keep the camera rolling and get more of these out!
