Starting out in the 1920s as Phil’s Lake Nokomis Resort, local legend says a famous Chicago bootlegger used this hideout to smuggle and transport illegal alcohol across the water during Prohibition.

Here's how we keep that history alive today:
🛥️ The G5 Vessel: The historic bootlegging boat used to run spirits back in the day has been lovingly restored by the owners of Bootleggers—keep your eyes peeled to see it on Lake Nokomis!
🍷 1883 Brunswick Back Bar: Crafted in Chicago in 1883, this masterpiece forms the heart and soul of our bar room.
🎨 Original Art: The paintings on our dining room walls are the very same originals featured here a century ago.
