You all know when you can get a Doctor's appointment you take it, cuz you never know how long it's going to be before you can get another one. Well, we have two doctors appointments in Eugene today so the cafe will be closed. We will reopen at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow morning

Wow! What a night for Prime Rib at Cafe 235 last night...we served 4- 20lb. roasts...
In fact the whole day was great because of our terrific loyal customers.
We so appreciate you all.
Smoked Salmon Clam Chowder is the soup today and remember at 2pm all desserts are half price.

The cafe was so busy yesterday I didn't get a chance to post.
First off we would like to thank Georgia Pacific for allowing us to cater their training sessions the past 4 days, in our banquet room. What a great group of people.
We are serving prime rib dinner tonight starting at 5:00... as always on Friday soup is Clam Crowder. The kitchen is stocked and ready to open for lunch at 11:00 a.m.

It's going to be an extremely busy day at Cafe 235 today Georgia-Pacific in the banquet room, two outside caterings and the cafe will be open from 11:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m.
Soup today is chicken and wild rice... we have all of your Hawaiian favorites, Asian dishes, burgers, rice and noodle bowls and much more. The pastry case is full and we look forward to seeing you today!

Cafe 235 would like to welcome Georgia-Pacific to our banquet room, yesterday, and the next 3 days. It is always a pleasure to cater for you.
The cafe is now open on Tuesdays! Soon we will have a new menu with some new dishes as well as all day breakfast.
The Cafe is now open Tuesday through Saturday 11am to 8pm.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. It was a very busy week at Cafe 235 and we thank you all. Remember our hours and days have changed.. Tuesday through Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.. we have stopped our Sunday brunch buffet until after the first of the year so that means at 2:00 p.m. all desserts are half price.
Remember our beautiful banquet space is available for parties, private dinners, meetings. We are getting pretty booked up for the fall and winter season so make sure you give the cafe a call before all of our availability is taken. Have a pleasant weekend everybody and make sure you visit Cafe 235 at 160 North Main Street in Toledo

Wow!! An extremely busy day at the cafe yesterday....it was good to see all of you.
It's Friday and that means homemade Clam Chowder is on the menu. Not serving Prime Rib tonight. Sorry.
We will be bringing out our new menu in the next few weeks. We have added 6 new items as well as all day breakfast selections.
Let's all have a great day today as we settle into the fall season.

Let me start off by saying we love our loyal customers and we love our new restaurant space but it has been a challenge for us trying to staff this bigger Cafe. We have had numerous people apply but none have been qualified or flexible enough to work the shifts that we need filled therefore we need to get back to the basics and offer the great atmosphere, great service and the great food that you have come to enjoy over the past 5 years.
We realize that at our age we just can't function like we did when we were younger men, but our journey still continues and we will be making a few changes at the cafe.
We have decided to end our Sunday buffet but we will be offering a buffet on holidays.
Our hours will change to.. Tuesday through Saturday starting October 13th. The menu will have some new items as well as a limited all day breakfast section which will also start on October 13th.
We have not given up but have come to the realization that life throws curveballs at you and you sometimes need to adjust your game plan. Today our staff will be deep cleaning and stocking the cafe as well as reviewing our new menu. We will be open for business tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. and we deeply thank you all for your loyal patronage.

Our Refrigeration is all fixed and running properly, but now we are short staffed in the cafe. I'm still trying to find Qualified help but right now the cafe will be closed today and tomorrow. We will reopen Wednesday morning
