Today Sora had an appointment with a specialty veterinary surgeon regarding her overbite. After a thorough evaluation, we learned that Sora has a malocclusion that will require corrective surgery.

Our goal is to give this sweet girl the best chance at a comfortable, pain-free life. The preliminary estimate for her surgery ranges from $5,025 to $5,750. We are hoping to raise the necessary funds so her procedure can be scheduled within the next 4–6 weeks, with the ideal timing being around 6 months of age.

Sora is only a puppy, and she deserves the opportunity to grow up without pain or discomfort. If you would like to help Sora on her journey, every donation, share, and word of support means the world to us.

Those of you who have been with us for some time may remember Gene. Although he has not been at the shop much since Miss Chris passed, he has been in the background cheering us on and making an occasional appearance at our events. We are sad to share that he passed away this week. We will continue to work hard to continue the legacy that he and Miss Chris started here at the shop in honor of them both.

Day 2 of posting Mimosa until she finds her forever family 🤍

19 months is a long time to wait for someone to choose you. Through it all, Mimosa still greets every day with gentle eyes, happy zoomies, and so much love to give.
