Whether youā€™re from around here or looking for a little getaway, Reelfoot Lake is such a beautiful place to spend a day or even an entire weekend!

Take a stroll along the boardwalk at the Reelfoot Lake museum, enjoy the peaceful scenery, slow down a little, and then make your way over to Cheathamā€™s Pit BBQ for some good food!

Sometimes the best little getaways are the simplest ones, and weā€™re lucky to have all this beauty right here in our backyard. ā¤ļø

When you make your way down to the Pit for some yummy BBQ, be sure to stop by the Reelfoot Lake Museum and check out the amazing birds in their care. Many of these beautiful birds have been given a second chance at life, and getting to see them up closeā€”especially at feeding timeā€”is such a cool experience!
