Thereās something special about bringing history back to life, and this antique pool table is the perfect example of the kind of pieces weāre collecting to fully craft the vibe of Station 1909.
This is a fully restored Brunswick Gold Crown I, circa 1968, and itās every bit as solid and impressive as the day it was built. Itās getting set up with brand new Simonis cloth, but what really makes this table special is the old-school craftsmanship you just donāt see anymore. Every part still carries its original serial numbers, the slate uses the early dowel pins, and the subframe was built perfectly flat. When it was leveled before the slate went on, it came within three thousandths of level, which tells you everything about the quality these tables were made with.
Thatās exactly the kind of character we want filling Station 1909. Not new, not plastic, not throwaway real pieces with history, stories, and soul.
Little by little weāre gathering antiques, fixtures, and one-of-a-kind finds to make sure when you walk in, it doesnāt just look like a bar⦠it feels like you stepped into another time.
