Now I need to address the slandering that’s currently happening towards our establishment & employees.
- You cannot bring outside beverages to our establishment. We just made a post about this last week.
- Even if it is NA or Zero it is illegal to have on our property if we do not sell that product because we have to order that product from a beer distributor & have it on an invoice.
- We DO always have an NA option. We also carry pop, tea, water, & lemonade. I myself do not drink - we would never try to force anyone to drink alcohol.
- There were 2 bartenders yesterday & neither one was asked if said beverage could be brought. However, the answer still would’ve been no.
- We are not racist. Rednecks - maybe. Racist - no. We welcome everyone!
- We are not crackheads. We can all p*e in a cup to prove it.
- Our establishment does not smell bad. We cannot control how people from the public smell.
- Nobody is a pe*****le. My child has been around said person for many years & stayed the night & never once was there an issue. Actually, one of the best dads around & I would trust him with my daughter’s life!
I, Hayley, made the announcement about the outside beverage when it was brought to my attention. As it is my job to make sure all rules are being followed & address it when they aren’t. I made the announcement because I obviously didn’t know who the 6pack belonged to & felt it was not only disrespectful to the establishment, but to the family we were trying to raise money for as well. Also, it is illegal & at the end of the day it is my job. Had I known whose it was I would’ve addressed said person individually. This individual spoke up & took accountability for it to which I responded “I respect you for taking accountability.” because they didn’t have to speak up. & I still respect them for that!
None of this had to do with how much money was being spent, if people were drinking alcohol or not, etc. I had a few interactions with this person throughout the day when they purchased 50/50 tickets, bake sale items, waters & they were pleasant interactions.
I’m positive the slandering & the lies are not necessary. & Unfortunately, we cannot make everyone happy. We hope everyone has the day they deserve! 😊💜
