This weekend, our family, friends, and neighbors will come together to celebrate the birthdays of three very special girls — Ella, Charlie, and Annie. Greg and I feel incredibly lucky and proud to call these three beautiful girls our granddaughters. ❤️
I also want to give a very special shoutout to the two people who keep the wheels on this bus going around every single day — our daughter Hannah and her husband, Tyler.
Life gave Hannah and Tyler an unexpected challenge with their second daughter, Charlotte — our sweet Charlie. I’m sure there have been moments when it would have been easy to ask, “Why us?” But instead, they have met every challenge with strength, patience, love, and determination. They have become Charlie’s greatest advocates and biggest champions, making sure she has every opportunity to thrive. Watching the love and dedication they give their girls makes us incredibly proud.
This weekend is about celebrating birthdays, but it’s also about giving back.
We’ll be supporting a wonderful program called A Kid Again through Capes and Crowns. The Tin Can had hoped to make the trip down to Dublin, Ohio, to contribute in person, but we’re just not quite ready for that long of an adventure yet.
So instead, we’re bringing the support home. Every dollar of profit from our sales on Tuesday, 9/29, and Wednesday, 9/30, will be donated to A Kid Again in honor of Team Charlie’s Angels. ❤️
Please come out, say hello, and help us support Charlie and the many other children and families who face challenges they never expected but meet them every day with incredible courage.
It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful for ours.
