➡️➡️Today Little Man and I accidentally stumbled upon Jerusalem Market in Greensboro. I was intrigued by the name, and small neon 'Deli' sign in the window so we had to go in. They offer many products that I've never seen or tried such as dried figs, dates, and dried candied ginger sold by the lb. with a good variety of other groceries and snacks. We weren't looking for lunch but decided to split a wrap that was made fresh at the deli counter. We ordered the Jambon - a French ham with provolone, lettuce, tomato and cucumber sauce. The wrap itself was extremely light, and delicious; the ham and other ingredients were just as phenomenal.. As we were eating it in our truck, I said I could have eaten another half but it wont be long til dinner time. With all of his 10yr old wisdom, my son said 'yeah, let's do that.. let's get another one to take home for dinner' So we made our way back in. He opted for his very own Jambon wrap, and I decided to get the Armenian -spiced dried beef filet with provolone lettuce and tomato..and of course their delicious Cucumber sauce. The lady working said she was the daughter-in-law of the man who opened the Market in 1989. Having lost my own father just a few years ago, I felt connected when she described what a great man he was. The family has another restaurant in Greensboro, Jerusalem Market on Elm that we are looking forward to trying soon!!
