Thank you to every guest who walked through our doors, shared a meal with us, celebrated with us, laughed with us, and made Papa Dio’s feel full of life this week.

The part of “family-owned” you don’t always see.

It’s the prep work, the problem solving, the long days, the full hands, and somehow being covered in sauce by noon.

Candace doesn’t just own Papa Dio’s. She shows up, jumps in, and does whatever needs to be done.

And on stormy Oklahoma nights, that work means a little something extra.

The lights are on, the kitchen is warm, and if the weather gets loud, we’ll still be here doing what we do best: taking care of people around the table.

From the first task of the day to being the last one out the door, she leads by example.

Bacio means “kiss,” and this eggplant special has been giving Papa Dio’s love all week long.

Grilled eggplant steak topped with Pomodoro sauce, our Bacio provolone-mozzarella cheese blend, and baked with spaghettini pasta.

Served with soup or salad and a fresh roll.
And yes, tiramisu should absolutely come home with you.

This week’s special is Bacio Melanzana, which means eggplant kiss, and honestly, that’s exactly what it tastes like.
