2 years ago we embarked on a dream to own an Italian Restaurant that would honor my late Mother and in those two years we have really enjoyed the ride in the Colony but it will becoming to an end but will not be over.
We have not been able to work out a deal with the management company on the rent pricing and with our best efforts to do so over the last 8 months, we could not convince them to reduce the rent or stabilize it for the future.
With the rising rent cost and reduction of sales, it has forced us to make a decision on a dream that we have. We got into the business to grow something with amazing food and atmosphere to multiple locations, and while we looked for months for a location in the Colony to move our current restaurant while also expanding to a new city, we have not been able to find a place that would fit into our budget based off sales.
Due to many factors presented to us by our current management company along with the rising rents surrounding the area today, we will be closing the Colony location on the 22nd of August. This decision was extremely difficult for us and was not taken lightly.
We want to thank all the loyal and new customers that have come over the years and we are saddened this chapter will be coming to an end.
