Hey yall, Adam here. As we move a few steps closer to moving I want to start sharing some of our journey over the last year! The history of this building was quite literally interred in its bones! These pictures were of the wall that was behind the old Teepee's bar. Inside we found an old door with painted glass from what we could assume was the Indian Acres store that occupied the building many years before it became a bar!

Welcome Indiana State University, and Indiana State Sycamores. It is great to start seeing Downtown Terre Haute becoming more active as the students start arriving to Terre Haute. We welcome you and look forward to seeing many familiar faces, and we are excited to greet first time visitors. Have a great year Sycamores! Hey y'all, Adam here. Today marks 4 years since the beginning of our journey downtown with J Gumbo's Terre Haute. I just want to take a minute to say THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for all of your love and support for the past few years. It would not be possible for us to have come so far without you all! That being said it's my pleasure to announce to everyone that. Yes, those rumors are true! I purchased a building, and we have been in the depths of remodeling and updating the new location for almost an entire year! So don't mind our mess downtown for now. These next weeks as we start our transition process we hope you'll continue to support us downtown and stop in and have some fun as we prepare for our big sendoff to our new location at 1651 S25th St!
Keep your eyes on all of our socials as we start to share some of what we have been up to and tease some new things to come!

Sip and skate is off but make sure you still go out and support our friends at Hot Wheels Skate and Event Center tomorrow night! The jams will be jamming!

Unfortunately with us having to postpone the sip and skate event, we won’t be there to serve up the drinks but we still want to encourage everyone to still go out and support our friends at Hot Wheels Skate and Event Center tomorrow night for a fun night of skating and jams!
