When we started raising cattle 15 years ago in the coastal mountains west of Paso Robles, we decided to do what was best for the land, best for the livestock and best for the mea
t consumer. So we focused on 100% grassfed cattle that spend their entire lives grazing on local pastures, eating their natural diet of wild grasses, as well as forbes like clover, vetch and filaree. Not to mention how satisfying, healthy and nutritionally rich it is. Grassfed beef is a delicious and sustainable superfood. We’ve been serving grassfed hamburgers to our Rangeland Wines customers for 10 years. Great customer feedback has encouraged us to branch out and try this Templeton restaurant. We’ve partnered with Anthony and Josh Allesmith, the talented local caterers known as the Prancing Chef. Anthony and Josh were both born raised here in the county. They are highly trained, experienced and dedicated culinary pros. Our staff are longtime local residents, some of whom have worked here for years. Our three Foshay children were raised on our Adelaida Springs Ranch and are Templeton High graduates. The beef is raised here in SLO County and processed locally at J&R Meats. So we are rooted in this community but we are are growing. We are adapting the traditional burger stand menu, complete with fries and milkshakes, to an all-grassfed format. At an age when we might be slowing down, we are branching out and envisioning new horizons. We are simply seeking a Better Burger, Better World
