On Monday 7/1, the Maricopa County Health Department issued an alert that was reported in local news that a possible Hepatitis A exposure may have occurred at the Genghis Grill in the Tempe Marketplace. Although the Maricopa County Health Department says that the risk of transmission to any restaurant patron is considered low, we wanted our valued guests to be informed and aware of a possible exposure to guests who visited the location on 6 dates between May 30th and June 18th.

Our utmost priority is the health and safety of our guests and team members. We were recently informed that an employee at our Tempe location has tested positive for Hepatitis A. That employee is being treated and we are cooperating fully with the Health Department to ensure our customers and team members are protected. We have had no other reports of any illness linked to this location. We will continue to work with the Health Department and follow their guidance.

Guests who visited Genghis Grill Tempe after June 18th had no potential exposure. Genghis Grill is fully cooperating with the Health Department and is open and ready to serve our valued guests.
