To the Community of Tea,

This is the hardest post we’ve ever had to write.

When we opened Titans Tavern in May of 2024, we weren’t just opening a bar and restaurant—we were chasing a lifelong dream. We wanted to build a place where friends, families, neighbors, and complete strangers could come together, enjoy a great meal, have a drink, celebrate life’s milestones, and simply feel at home.

Today, with heavy hearts, we’re announcing that Saturday, August 1, will be our final day in business.

This isn’t the ending we ever imagined, and it certainly isn’t the one we hoped for. We gave this dream everything we had, and while we’re heartbroken that it’s coming to an end, we’re incredibly thankful for the journey it gave us.

Over the past two years, we’ve had the privilege of celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, graduations, retirement parties, charity events, church gatherings, volleyball leagues, karaoke nights, live music, and so many moments we’ll never forget. We’ve watched first-time customers become regulars, and regulars become friends.

To every single person who walked through our doors: thank you.

Thank you for every meal you ordered, every drink you shared, every event you hosted, every recommendation, every Facebook share, and every time you chose to support a small local business. Whether you came in once or a hundred times, you became part of our story.

To our incredible staff: thank you. You cared for our guests, worked long hours, stayed late, came in early, and helped make Titans Tavern what it was. We couldn’t have done it without you.

And to the community of Tea: thank you for welcoming us. Thank you for believing in us. Thank you for giving our family the opportunity to live a dream, even if it was only for a little while.

We’ve always believed that a bar or restaurant is about more than food and drinks. It’s about the people inside it. It’s about conversations that turn into friendships, birthdays that become traditions, celebrations that become memories, and a place where people simply enjoy being together.

Those memories will stay with us forever.

If you’ve been meaning to stop in one more time, we’d love to see you this week. Come have one last burger, one last drink, share a story, laugh with us, and help us celebrate everything Titans Tavern has meant to so many people.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for letting us be a small part of this community.

To our Tea community,

Today, we’re asking for your help.

If you’ve ever enjoyed a meal at Titans Tavern, had a drink with friends, attended an event, played video lottery, or simply believe in supporting local businesses, we’re asking you to consider stopping in over the next couple of weeks. Order takeout for your family, grab dinner, host an event, meet friends for a drink, or simply tell others about us. Every single visit, recommendation, and share truly matters right now.

Now, here’s why we’re asking…

When we opened Titans Tavern in May of 2024, it wasn’t just another business to us—it was our dream. We poured everything we had into bringing new life to one of Tea’s oldest buildings because we believed our community deserved a place where families could eat together, friends could gather, local organizations could host events, and people could feel at home.

Over the last two years, we’ve celebrated birthdays, weddings, benefits, fundraisers, school events, community gatherings, live music, volleyball leagues, karaoke nights, and so many other memories with all of you. We’ve tried to give back whenever we could by supporting local schools, charities, sports teams, and community organizations because Tea has always meant more to us than just where our business is located—it’s home.

Unfortunately, this summer has been incredibly difficult. Between several new restaurants opening in Tea and the normal summer slowdown, our sales have dropped dramatically. We’re doing everything we can to keep our dream alive, but the reality is that we need our community now more than ever.

If you’ve had a good experience with us, please tell your friends and family. Leave us a recommendation. Recommend us when someone asks where to eat. Every one of those things helps more than most people realize.

We’re not asking for sympathy—we’re asking for an opportunity. An opportunity to continue serving this community and to show those who haven’t visited yet what we’ve worked so hard to build.

Whether you’ve visited us once or a hundred times, thank you. Your support has meant more than you’ll ever know.
