This female is quickly approaching her 2nd birthday. When she was born she was the first calf born from her mother and sometimes first calvers need a little more assistance than more mature cows. It's not always the case but postpartum can affect animals much like it does people from time to time even if the delivery was unassisted. Either way she needed a little extra help when she was born that I provided and even today, 2 years later you never have to look for her she always finds me.

Well unfortunately I have 2 extra BBQ trays left for tonight that I wasn't supposed to still have if you know what I mean. I still have some BBQ trays and a few Chicken trays available for this weekend. I'll be making a stop in at Crazy Reds tonight (Saturday) from 5-5:30 if you want to pick one up. Also if you wanna comment "I'll take one" in the comments it does help me plan a little better on how many to bring.

Also know that other than the sauce cup on the side there is no sauce nor any sugar on any of the meats. Very versatile for other dishes you may want to make with it other than just traditional BBQ if desired. Trays are $35.

I'll be at Tractor Supply in Mt. Washington tonight (Friday) 5-6 if you want a 3lb party tray of BBQ. No sauce on the meat along with no sugar. However a sauce cup will be included on the side. You can also refer back to a few previous posts about the trays as well if need be.

Also no call or text in orders as I'll be in the field unable to respond back in a timely manner. However if you want to respond in the comments if you want one it will give me a better idea on how many to pack up. Also I won't have my smoker with me but I'll be in my white Ford Super Duty parked on the side of the building. Trays are $35. Thanks and have a great day.

The sun is headed down and making it's way over the trees here in Bullitt co. Kentucky... You know it seems like most of the farmland in this county is getting sucked up by houses, concrete and pavement. However even though it's hot and this job isn't easy, there is still a little piece of paradise out here. I'm proud of it and thankful I can still do it.

Some people think beef is way to high to buy and I totally disagree. Just finished pulling this big bull calf out of a first calf heifer tonight and thankfully he's alive. Way too big of a calf for her. First calf for a cow can be very challenging at times also. Not always the case but sometimes it can be and you better be ready. Now it's 10:15 (this started at 5:30)
and im trying to get some milk in this calf with a bottle because momma isnt quite ready.

Beef should be the most expensive food product you buy in the grocery store because I can 100% guarantee you there is more work and more time involved in raising cattle than any other food product you're ever going to eat.
