We’ll be closed Tuesday as we take a little time to catch up on projects, prep behind the scenes, and get a few things accomplished.

🎂 Some cakes are more than dessert.

They’re tradition, they’re memories, and they’re part of a family’s story. ❤️

A sweet lady called us because for many years she has made her husband’s German chocolate birthday cake herself. This year, due to health and age, she wasn’t able to do it.

German chocolate cake isn’t something we normally offer. It’s a labor intensive cake and at this stage of our little bakery and ice cream shop we simply don’t have the time or capacity to make them regularly.

But after hearing her story, we decided to make an exception. ❤️

🍫 This beautiful cake features three layers of German chocolate cake filled with homemade German chocolate filling made from a buttery caramel custard, coconut, and pecans. It’s layered generously, topped with more of that classic coconut-pecan filling, and finished with a chocolate drizzle.

🚗 Not only were we able to make the cake, but we also delivered it so she could focus on celebrating her husband.

We have a feeling he’s going to be pretty happy when he sees this cake. Happy Birthday from all of us at The Littlest Bake Shop! ❤️🎂

🎉 We hope he has a wonderful birthday, and we’re honored to have been a small part of their celebration this year. ❤️🎂

🦇 WOW. We put out the Bat Signal… and y’all ANSWERED. 🦇

When we posted our Rainy Day Emergency earlier, we figured a few people might stop by.
Instead, y’all showed up like Gotham City was depending on buttercream.

Thank you to everyone who braved the rain, splashed through puddles, waited in line, and came out to spend part of your day with us. What started as a gloomy, rainy afternoon turned into a bakery full of smiling faces, laughter, and lots of treats heading out the window 🙌

We looked around at one point and thought, “Well… this escalated quickly.” 😂

Seriously though, thank you. Days like today remind us how lucky we are to be surrounded by such amazing people. We don’t take a single visit for granted, and we loved seeing every one of you.
Now go curl up, stay dry, and enjoy those cookies, cupcakes, brownies, flights, ice cream, and all the other goodies you rescued from the bakery today. ☔🍪🧁

✨ And a very Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there! We hope tomorrow is filled with family, laughter, good food, and a dessert you don’t have to share. ✨

Custom cakes are made for moments you’ll remember forever.

This Michael Jackson inspired birthday cake features vanilla cake, vanilla buttercream, dramatic red ruffles, black bows, edible glitter, and an edible image of the King of Pop himself.👑🎙️✨🤩

To make the celebration even more memorable, we included a sparkling firework candle for the birthday celebration. Once it’s lit, the cake transforms from dessert to center stage.🎇

This guy just showed up and told us his name was George… so naturally, we hired him.

George has apparently been on the loose around town, but he’s officially part of The Littlest Bake Shop team now.

George says his previous experience was as a server at Lakeside Inn, where he specialized in banana daiquiris. With credentials like that, who were we to argue? 🍌🍹

To celebrate his new job, George is offering FREE pets until 6 PM with every cookie purchase! 🍪🐒

His hiring process was simple. He walked in, introduced himself, and acted like he already worked here. We respected the confidence.
