Most people see the finished review.

What they don't always see is the time spent visiting local restaurants, talking with staff, taking photos, and paying attention to all the little details that help tell the story.

This was taken during my visit to DayBreak Cafe in Tarpon Springs, while I was enjoying their Frutti di Mare pasta.

NEW FOODIE MOB REVIEW ☀️

I recently stopped by Daybreak Cafe in Tarpon Springs for lunch, and this local favorite reminded me why I keep coming back.

I enjoyed the Wednesday Special, a Frutti di Mare pasta loaded with fresh mussels, shrimp, and sea scallops in a flavorful tomato sauce. My wife enjoyed the BLT on toasted sourdough with homemade potato salad, and Stephanie's service was outstanding.

But the real surprise came at dessert...

🍓🍰 The Strawberry Cheesecake Milkshake.

A thick strawberry milkshake topped with a full slice of cheesecake, whipped cream, fresh strawberries, and strawberry drizzle. It wasn't just dessert—it was an experience.

DayBreak continues to prove why it's a favorite among locals, offering great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere for breakfast or lunch.

🍕 NEW FOODIE MOB REVIEW 🍕

I recently stopped by BackDraughts Wood Fired Pizza Tarpon Springs, for lunch and came away impressed by their brick oven pizza and one of the best homemade buttermilk ranch dressings I've had.

The Supreme Pizza featured green olives instead of the traditional black olives, giving it a unique twist that really worked.

I also had the chance to meet the pizza maker and watch the brick oven in action, which added to the experience.

Positive post!

Too often, great service goes unnoticed and unrecognized today in the restaurant business.

We want to change that!

Now, if you’re like us and getting older, names are sometimes (often 😂) difficult to remember, but we want you to tag people AND their restaurant employers for outstanding service you’ve recently or always receive when dining out.

I’ll start with a server that always waits on me in the comments, and I can’t think of his name to save my life! 😂❤️

So, let’s have a chat about…

your biggest pet peeves when dining out especially in today’s post-Covid environment (yeah, it’s still a thing).

No, we’re not talking about McDonald’s or Chick-fil-A, we’re talking dining in a full service restaurant either alone (I love dining alone!) or with a group of friends or family.

Whether it’s atmosphere, people, food, service or accessibility, many of these things and more have changed when dining out.

So, tell us, don’t be shy, let’s have it:

What excites or disappoints you nowadays when spending your hard earned money in a restaurant, and if there’s a particular service worker you’d like to give praise along with a tag of their restaurant employer, drop that as well so perhaps they’ll be deservingly recognized for a pretty damn hard job that many of us have had some time in our lives.

This should be scary or fun!
