120 years ago Mr. Henry Clark Bridgers Sr. who founded the East Carolina Railroad had this building constructed as home to the local post office, pharmacy, and his corporate office. From then to now, the Bridgers Building stands a short stroll in the nation’s second-oldest colonial town common.

10 years ago the Tarboro Coffee House first opened it’s doors in the historic downtown district. Since then it has served as a vital community hub to this day. Over the past decade, it has transformed from an ambitious idea to a fundamental third space for locals and visitors alike. Its history blends Eastern NC heritage with evolving generations of local ownership.

Join us as we lead up to our 10 year anniversary this August. We want to celebrate the Coffee House, Main Street, and You!

We are officially just 2 weeks away from our next Sourdough Bread Class! 🍞✨

We are so excited to spend another evening talking all things sourdough and baking alongside you all. The response to these classes has been incredible, and we’ll actually be welcoming even more people than we did at our last class!

A huge thank you to everyone who has signed up and is coming out to learn with us. Your support means the world, and we can’t wait to share our love of sourdough with each of you.

We’re already looking forward to planning the next class! If you missed out this time, don’t worry—there will be more opportunities to join us in the future. ❤️
