Love you a-latte?

Good thing we’ve got a whole menu! And today we meet matcha…

The word comes from Japanese:
“ma” (抹) meaning ground
“cha” (茶) meaning tea

Unlike steeped tea, matcha is made from finely stone-milled green tea leaves whisked directly into the cup, so you’re tasting the whole leaf. A good matcha has balance: fresh vegetal notes, natural sweetness, soft umami, and a clean finish. Pairs perfect with the soft and creamy frothed milk of your choosing from cow to oat!

You know summer’s going to come in hot… so we’re getting ready to keep it 🆒. Quench your thirst at the new café… your new pit 😉 stop for summer strolls in town!

Georgia Peach is the perfect pick, a bright, brisk black tea built on organic Ceylon, layered with sun-ripened peach notes and a touch of Egyptian marigold for a soft floral lift.

This one’s all about that balance:

Even with the new cafe coming along we are still bagging it up in our production studio on Kit Carson.  

Fun fact! 💡We hand bag 10’s of 1000’s of tea bag every month. Many diligent hands and hearts go into our process. Mekaela is our “curve buster” and has blown away any daily tea bag records to date with a shocking 2200 in one day!!!

Every day is one day closer to café, and it’s a feast for the senses not just from the teapot!

From finger foods to charcuterie an cheese, vegan boxes and gluten-free choices that are main event not afterthought… It’s hard work but someone’s gotta make some menu decisions around here!

Sweet and savory tea team-taste tested treats to complement your cup.

While we tasted a broader menu to sneak peak the menu we will eventually roll out, we are well on our way to starting in May with an array of baked goodies like:

- Warm buttery scones fresh out of the oven served with fresh whipped creams, from classic to sweet, basil to rosemary 🧈
- Tea-essenced cupcakes in dreamy flavors like apple delight and high desert sage🧁
- Gooey chocolately cookies ! 🍪

It’s all coming together bite by delicious bite! Thanks for making it so hard to choose! 👀
