Meet Our Master Chef
My father-in-law was the head chef and owner of the beloved Golden Buddha in Apollo Beach back in the 1980s. After spending a decade building and operating a successful restaurant, he eventually sold it—but his passion for cooking never faded.
At home, he has always remained a true master chef, transforming simple ingredients into extraordinary meals that taste like they came straight from a fine-dining kitchen. Cooking isn’t just what he does—it’s who he is. He pours his heart into every dish, and nothing brings him more joy than watching someone take that first bite and fall in love with his food.
Today, I want to give him the ultimate compliment.
His salmon roe, pork, and shrimp shumai are, without question, the best shumai I’ve ever tasted.
I’ve eaten dim sum in restaurants around the world—from famous establishments to hidden neighborhood gems—and nothing has come close. Delicate wrappers. Bouncy, perfect texture. Juicy, flavorful filling. Every bite reflects decades of experience, dedication, and craftsmanship.
These aren’t just dumplings.
They’re the result of a lifetime spent perfecting a craft.
If you agree, help us spread the word. Share a video, leave a review, tell your friends, and tag us on social media. Maybe, just maybe, enough people will discover these incredible shumai that they’ll catch the attention of one of those anonymous Michelin inspectors.
Whether that day ever comes or not, we already know what makes these shumai special.
Behind every dumpling is a chef who has spent decades cooking with passion, pride, and love for his craft.
And I truly believe the world deserves to taste them.
One bite, and you’ll understand.
