Hey friends!
Good news/bad news post for ya:
Bad first right quick: we need an extra day to get our production back up and running after last week’s closure, so we’ll be closed tomorrow (Wednesday 9/2)
GOOD NEWS:
We’ll be back open Thursday 9/3 and our Fall menu will be in full swing! Fall drinks (pumpkin pancakes latte is here to stay for a minute+ a new seasonal line up) AND fall pastries for ya.
Can’t wait to see y’all so soon (just not quite tomorrow 😎).
AND LAST NEWS
We’re starting to plan + prep for our next themed menu, which is gunna be launching in a few weeks (dates to be announced), and it’s gunna be a doozie. Any guesses?
Hint: we’ve done this one like once or twice or maybe even nine times before 👀

It’s officially Matilda week in the bakery! And y’all, that’s not a typo on the flyer, this menu is running today through this SUNDAY 8/23 (11-4 daily).
We’re opening up this Sunday because (unfortunately 🥲) we’ll be closed all next week (w 8/26 - sat 8/29), so we’re giving this week an extra day✨🤌🫡.
Our old wood framed building went and got herself a bunch of termites, and next week they’ll be tenting for that. Transparently, this is going to be an enormous feat getting the bakery cleared out and then put back to rights, but what would make it so much easier is if y’all would show up in droves this week/weekend and help sell us out of all the pastries we have prepped 👀
BUT ANYWAYS
In addition to some cheeky baked goods, we’re also launching PUMPKIN LATTES this week. Last year we launched pumpkin the first week of August. This year I think I showed great restraint in waiting until the third week of the month. So be sure to come by (once or twice or everyday this week) for all the whimsey and fall latte feels, we’ll be here for ya ✨💫🔥👋🤠🍁🎃

some recent shots in the bakery ✨
basque cheesecake is BACK this week (today’s flavor: peach and lemon cheesecake, passion curd, peach whip), and we’ve got regular hours for y’all: w-sat 11-4 ♥️
we’re making way for a new seasonal menu, in that odd little transition time between summer and fall, so be sure to come by for the last burst of fresh summery flavor before everything is about that good spice 🤌
we’ll be saying goodbye to coconut records this week 🥲 (on our last bottle of brown sugar coconut syrup and I won’t be making more ❌) so be sure to come grab one while you can!
ALSO! Important info following:
I’ll be posting about this in further detail closer to the time, but just a head up, we will be closed the last week of August (8/26-8/29). Our cutie old wood framed building is being tented for termites, and it’s going to be quite the process preparing for that. I’m hoping to re-open with regular hours the following week, but atm it’s a little unclear how that scheduling is going to work with getting our bakery production back up and running after such a severe halt + plus moving everything out/back in/clean up etc.
Closing for a week (hopefully not longer 🤞) at the end of summer is not ideal, so we’ll be adding a couple open Sundays to the schedule leading up to tenting to help with a sales boost + extra hours for staff to help mitigate losses from the closure, and are planning a special theme menu for next week so keep an eye out for that drop!

It’s been real, and really fun and silly but we’re saying farewell to our 7-Elevenses menu TOMORROW 7/18.
Open for y’all with regular hours 11-4.
Going to be making so many sandos + full menu available tomorrow + a new drink (we’re calling her the gas station cold brew, Brandywine Coffee Roasters’s dirty soda co-ferment blend, cold brewed and served with cream and vanilla syrup, topped with cherry cold foam if you’re feeling it) 🍒

Is it even an Elevenses drinks photo shoot if half of the drink isn’t on the table at the end of it?
We’ve got some brand new drink specials, some previous drink specials that have made their way on to our “permanent” menu (looking at you, green Thai tea 🥹🤌), anddd have re-formatted our drinks menu to make it a little easier to navigate + finally added pourovers to the actual menu for ya 👋
It’s HOT out there (send help 🥵) so we’re focusing on some lighter and summery flavors for y’all (bonus, all the new additions are dairy free/vegan).

The Mango Fizz: mango purée, passionfruit soda, and df coconut cold foam 🥭✨ she’s sweet, tart, a little creamy, and 100% refreshingly addictive
Coconut Records (will also answer to Jason Schwartzman): iced coffee shaken with brown sugar toasted coconut syrup, topped with df coconut cold foam 🥥🌴 the perfect iced coffee for summer, and made using *actual* toasted coconut + sweetened condensed coconut milk (aka you won’t be left with that weird suntan location coconut extract taste after drinking this 🫡)
Y’all have been loving the Salted Orange Blossom, so we kept her on for now but there’s some new featured lattes coming soon!

last week we presented a mini scrubs menu and basically never promoted it outside of stories (sometimes life just keeps movin and groovin, ya know?) so happy to announce that scrubs drinks are still here for y’all 🙌

before we dive into talking about what’s happening on sunday, we’ve got (our new) regular hours for yall this week:
w-fr 9am-4pm (how’s everybody liking mornings so far???) and sat 11-4. come by and hang out with us, maybe??
!!BUT ALSO!! we’ll be opening up on sunday 3/8 11am-4pm for a bar take-over by local legends 👋🎉🙌👏
Wuz Here will be popping up and running the coffee program for the day (swipe to see their menu 🤤), of course we’ll be baking up some sunday-only treats, andddd we are so stoked to have our very own Wren of here teaching some pottery wheel basics (tickets for those 30 minute classes are linked in our bio).
