After 26 wonderful years at Vizcaya, it’s time to share a new chapter.
When I opened Vizcaya in 1996, I could never have imagined the journey ahead—the countless meals served, celebrations shared, friendships made, and memories created along the way.
Two years ago, I made the decision to step away from the restaurant business and begin a new chapter in my life. But one thing was certain: food and hospitality would always be a part of it.
Today, I’m very excited to introduce EuroTapas Fine Foods, an importer and distributor of fine European foods, with a special focus on the exceptional products of Spain.
After spending most of my life in restaurant kitchens and working alongside chefs, restaurateurs, and hospitality professionals, my goal is simple: to use that experience to source and provide outstanding products with the quality, service, and personal attention that I always valued as a chef and restaurant owner.
We’re already supplying restaurants throughout the Tampa Bay area, and there’s much more to come. Our website and e-commerce platform are in the works, which will allow us to serve both the hospitality industry and food lovers looking for exceptional European products.
To everyone who supported Vizcaya over those 26 years, thank you. The greatest part of owning the restaurant was never simply the food—it was making people happy, getting to know so many of you, watching families celebrate milestones at our tables, and creating memories that I will carry with me forever.
Vizcaya will always be an important part of my story. My hope is that EuroTapas Fine Foods will be the beginning of another great journey and the first step toward another milestone—one that I hope many of you will be a part of.
