always taste better the next day

I want to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who has been patient, understanding, and supportive as I navigate the unimaginable loss of my only brother.

I have closed my classes for the entire month of August because, honestly, I’ve been trying to literally pick my life back up. I am shattered, and I’m still processing a loss that has changed me forever.

Just moments before my world fell apart, I had the privilege of hosting this incredible group. They were so professional, kind, and understanding, and they allowed me to be a part of their community and their giveback for children—something that has always been very close to my heart and something I have always prided myself on through Cooking With Ms Princess.

I am incredibly grateful for everyone who has reached out, checked on me, prayed for me, given me grace, and continued to support my small business during this difficult time.

I want you all to know that I will continue to host cooking classes. Cooking With Ms Princess is not going anywhere. I’m simply giving myself permission to take my time, breathe, grieve, and process this loss.

Thank you for understanding that behind the business is a real person, a sister, a wife, a mother, and someone trying to find her way through an incredibly painful season.

Thank you for giving me grace while I heal. I’ll be back in the kitchen when I’m ready. ❤️

David was a loving husband, father, son, uncle and friend who always put others first, and his family now needs help as they navigate this unimaginable tragedy. If you’re able, please consider sharing or donating to help them with the ongoing needs and arrangements during this difficult time. 💙
